The work

From the air studio to the owner's office

I started as a disc jockey and program director, then moved to the sales floor, into sales management, general management, and eventually station ownership. Along the way I became the person other managers called when revenue or morale was off - not because I had a magic script, but because I could translate what the audience hears into what the sales team should say.

Today I'm Managing Partner of Wizard of Ads Chuck McKay, Ltd., part of Roy H. Williams's international organization. The methodology is grounded in how memory, persuasion, and behavior actually work - not in whatever platform happens to be trendy this quarter.

The A.I.M. Framework book is for local business owners. This training program is the same ideas, rewritten for the conversation your reps are already having when someone says they're moving everything to digital.

PPC harvests demand. Only mass media creates it. When your team understands that sentence - really understands it - the rest of the sale gets easier.

I still answer my own phone. If you're evaluating the trade for your cluster, I'd rather talk once and get it right than lose you to a vague PDF.
